Carrie revealed the track list for My Savior, her recently-announced album of gospel hymns.  The new album will be released globally on CD and digital March 26, 2021, and on vinyl April 30. In anticipation of the Spring release, Carrie has released a new studio recording of “Softly And Tenderly,” which is available now when you pre-order the digital album here.

My Savior is co-produced and arranged by Carrie and GRAMMY® Award winner David Garcia, with whom she co-produced her critically acclaimed 2018 album Cry Pretty, her seventh album to be certified Platinum or Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

My Savior consists of covers of traditional gospel hymns Carrie grew up singing. Highlights of the album include a duet with CeCe Winans, the best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time, on the classic hymn, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and a special appearance by singer/songwriter Bear Rinehart, frontman of the rock band, NEEDTOBREATHE, who joins Carrie to sing harmony on another traditional hymn, “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus.” 

Carrie and David Garcia assembled a stellar group of elite Nashville musicians for My Savior, including Southern gospel and harmonica legend Buddy Greene, guitarist and 10-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally, Southern gospel piano virtuoso Gordon Mote, and frequent collaborator, singer/songwriter/musician Brett James joining Carrie on harmonies, among many others, to create a unique pastiche of musical styles from classic country to folk, bluegrass, and gospel.

Carrie will follow the extraordinary success of her recent Christmas album, My Gift, with an album of gospel hymns, titled My Savior.  The new album will be released on CD and Digital March 26, 2021, just prior to the Easter holiday, and on vinyl April 30. My Savior is co-produced by Carrie and GRAMMY® Award winner David Garcia, with whom she co-produced her critically-acclaimed 2018 Platinum album Cry Pretty.

Loretta Lynn announced today that she will release her 50^th studio album on March 19 entitled Still Woman Enough as a tribute to women in country music. Carrie joins Loretta, along with Reba McEntire, on the album’s title track.

Carrie’s first-ever Christmas album My Gift, continues its reign atop the charts this holiday season, following its #1 debut across multiple global charts. Released September 25, My Gift debuted #1 on the Billboard Country, Christian and Holiday charts, marking Underwood’s eighth straight album to debut #1 on the Billboard Country chart. The album remains at #1 on the Christian chart 11 weeks after it was released and debuted #1 on the UK country chart (her fifth #1 on the chart) and #1 on the Canadian country chart.
 
My Gift reclaimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Country chart last week for the third non-consecutive week, and has consistently stayed in the Top 5 on the Billboard Holiday Album Chart since its release. The album currently sits at #5 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200. Carrie currently has four songs on the Holiday Top 200 Streaming Chart (“Favorite Time of Year,” “Silent Night,” “Hallelujah,” and “Little Drummer Boy”) as well as four songs in the Top 30 on the Mediabase Holiday Music Chart (“Hallelujah,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Little Drummer Boy,” and “Mary, Did You Know?”)

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® announced today it will present “Cracker Barrel Sounds of the Season,” a musical, family-friendly holiday feature with performances by Carrie, Maddie & Tae and Runaway June. The holiday feature will debut on Cracker Barrel’s YouTube and Facebook pages on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT and will be available throughout the holiday season. Pandora announced today that Carrie will bring some holiday cheer to the virtual Pandora LIVE stage on December 8as she performs songs from her first ever full-length Christmas album, My Gift. Storme Warren from SiriusXM’s The Highway (ch. 56) will host the event at 9:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm PT and listeners can RSVP for free HERE.

The show will be presented at later dates in December on SiriusXM’s The Highway (ch. 56), Country Christmas (ch. 58), Christmas Spirit (ch. 63) and Holly (ch. 105).

HBO Max debuted today the trailer for Carrie’s new music special “My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood.” In the Max Original, Carrie performs a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the joy and hopefulness of the holiday, as well as new original material from her first ever full-length Christmas album “My Gift,”. On the special, she is accompanied by her band, as well as a live orchestra and choir, conducted by Carrie’s longtime friend, Emmy® Award-winning musical director Rickey Minor. 
 
The special features many heartfelt moments and performances, including a duet with John Legend, singing “Hallelujah,” an original song he co-wrote with Toby Gad, which appears on her “My Gift” album. Viewers will also get an inside look behind the scenes of Carrie recording “Little Drummer Boy” with her five-year-old son Isaiah. 
 
“My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood”is produced by Playtone, and will be available to stream starting Thursday, Dec. 3 on HBO Max.
