Carrie Underwood’s My Gift Available Today

Carrie Set To Star In Holiday Special Exclusively on HBO Max

Carrie releases her first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, today, listen HERE.

Produced and Arranged by Greg Wells, My Gift features a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the spiritual nature of the holiday, as well as several originals. Two of the new original songs are written by Carrie, frequent collaborator Brett James (“Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “Something In The Water”), and her Cry Pretty co-producer, David Garcia. In addition to a very special appearance by her 5-year-old son, Isaiah Fisher, on the holiday classic that inspired the album title, “Little Drummer Boy,” My Gift also features her first collaboration with Emmy, GRAMMY®, Oscar, and Tony Award-winner John Legend, on the original track, “Hallelujah,” written by Legend and Toby Gad (“All of Me”).

Yesterday, Carrie appeared on NBC’s TODAY to discuss My Gift as well as her historic ACM win and how she’s spending time with family this year, watch HERE. Carrie also shared that with the release of My Gift, she helped celebrate the season of giving through her C.A.T.S.Foundation (Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation). She recently donated $100,000 worth of Chromebooks and other supplies to the students in her hometown Checotah, Oklahoma school system (K-12) to help during the pandemic, and has set up a website for fans to share their own stories about acts of kindness as well as examples of how we can all inspire others by paying it forward. Carrie is also set to star in an all-new holiday special, which will be available exclusively on HBO Max. She will appear with a live orchestra and choir, performing a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the spiritual nature of the holiday, as well as new original material from My Gift. The Max Original special will be executive produced by Gary Goetzman and Tom Hanks for Playtone, along with Carrie and her manager, Ann Edelblute. HBO Max and Carrie Underwood Get Into the Holiday Spirit with a Christmas Special Highlighting Her First-Ever Christmas Album, My Gift

HBO Max announced today an exclusive holiday special for the platform starring Carrie Underwood, performing songs from her first ever full-length Christmas album, My Gift, which is available on CD and digital September 25th.

Carrie will appear with a live orchestra and choir, performing a combination of beloved traditional favorites celebrating the spiritual nature of the holiday, as well as new original material from the highly anticipated album, which will also be released on vinyl October 30^th.

The Max Original special will be executive produced by Gary Goetzman and Tom Hanks for Playtone, along with Underwood and her manager, Ann Edelblute. The holiday event is set to shoot this fall.

Carrie Takes Home 3rd ACM Entertainer of the Year Award

Carrie won the Academy’s highest honor for Entertainer of the Year with the first ever tie in that category. This is Carrie’s third win, making her the most awarded female in the ACM Entertainer of the Year category in ACM Awards history.

Carrie helped kick off the 55^th Annual ACM Awards performing “Before He Cheats” from the Grand Ole Opry House as part of the show’s opening along with fellow Entertainer of the Year nominees. In celebration of the 95^th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry, Carrie honored trailblazing female Opry members by performing a medley of songs including Patsy Cline’s “Crazy,” Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man),” Barbara Mandrell’s “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool,” Dolly Parton’s “Why’d You Come In Here Lookin’ Like That,” Reba McEntire’s “The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia,” and Martina McBride’s “A Broken Wing.”

It was announced this morning that Carrie will kick off the 55^TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™ along with her fellow Entertainer of the Year nominees in a special performance featuring a medley of some of their greatest hits.

The 55^TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™, a Night of Heart and Hits Live from Nashville, will be broadcast on Wednesday, September 16 (live 8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on CBS All Access.

Carrie Underwood Stars in Reimagined 2020 NBC Sunday Night Football Show Open

In less than three weeks, on Sunday, Sept. 13, Carrie Underwood stars in the debut of the 2020 show open for NBC’s Sunday Night Football, which has been primetime television’s No. 1 program for an unprecedented nine consecutive years. For the first time, the SNF show open will feature user-generated content from fans showcasing their team spirit. In addition, cameos from some of the NFL’s biggest stars, also recorded remotely, will be highlighted. I Am Second to Release ‘Mike and Carrie: God & Country’ May 27

“Mike and Carrie: God & Country,”a new exclusive digital short film series from I Am Second, provides an up-close and unfiltered glimpse into the life, relationship and faith of retired NHL player Mike Fisher and his wife Carrie Underwood, seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner.

In the four-part digital series releasing on iamsecond.com via weekly episodes beginning May 27, this powerhouse couple provides insight into how they continually sustain their marriage, despite sometimes differing views and personal loss, and find purpose beyond the professional accomplishments by which the world defines them.

Fisher is no stranger to I Am Second. He was featured in the non-profit’s White Chair short film series in 2014 in which he shared about his personal and professional struggles early in his career before a return to his faith.

In “Mike and Carrie: God & Country,” Fisher is joined by Underwood in a new interview, in which the couple speaks frankly about their personal journeys and provide hope and inspiration to anyone seeking or needing encouragement.

“Since first filming with I Am Second six years ago, I have seen God continue to grow my faith as Carrie and I have together walked through the natural joys and struggles of life,” Mike said. “This new series is not only a continuation of the 2014 White Chair film, but hopefully a reminder to individuals of God’s faithfulness in all situations.”

While Fisher and Underwood have each publicly spoken about their personal paths in the past, the new I Am Second series provides a specific, intimate look into their relationship, parenting journey and faith.

“We wanted to do this to share some of our personal journey in hopes that viewers will be inspired by it, and maybe even take one more step in pursuing a relationship with God,” said Underwood.

The full series will release in four-part installments, beginning on May 27, on iamsecond.com.
