On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, country music superstar and Resorts World Theatre first resident headliner, Carrie Underwood, kicked off her 2023 run of her ongoing REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Las Vegas. The first artist to grace the Resorts World Theatre stage when she opened the venue in 2021, Carrie dazzled the opening night crowd during her highly-anticipated, sold-out return to Las Vegas, marking her first of 21 exclusive performances at the venue this year. 

On the heels of her highly-successful, 43-city U.S. arena tour, THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR, and the recent launch of her exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel, CARRIE’S COUNTRY, Carrie shared her excitement with the sold-out venue as she took over the stage for an unforgettable performance of her greatest hits. Fans cheered and sang along to songs such as “Before He Cheats,” “Blown Away, “Cry Pretty,” and the showstopping finale, “Something in the Water” and more hits from her illustrious career, leaping to their feet throughout the show. As an added bonus, Carrie thrilled fans with an all-new performance of the title track of her “Denim & Rhinestones” album, which has been added to the production.

Exclusively designed for the state-of-the-art venue, Carrie’s REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency continues to be a must-see show in Las Vegas, selling out a total of 18 performances in the production’s debut run, which ran through May 2022, leading to the recent announcement of added performances for December 2023. On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, country music superstar and Resorts World Theatre resident headliner, Carrie, received a grand welcome at Resorts World Las Vegas to celebrate her June 21, 2023 return to the stage for REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency. During a private reception, Underwood celebrated the highly-anticipated return of her ongoing residency with a pink champagne waterfall toast in the Crockfords lobby alongside invited guests following her arrival to the property in a signature red Rolls Royce. 

Underwood stated, “I feel very special right now. It truly was an honor to open the Theatre at Resorts World and to be the first on that stage. [Resorts World] has been our home away from home, and we’re excited for the rest of this year and hopefully, a long time to come.”

Carrie, who also launched her exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel, CARRIE’S COUNTRY on June 9, 2023, was joined by Bobby Reynolds (Senior Vice President, AEG Presents Las Vegas) and Scott Sibella (President, Resorts World Las Vegas) who also shared remarks about the excitement surrounding her return to the stage with 21 shows in 2023. 

“When we set out to put the theatre calendar together, we wanted the best entertainers putting on the best shows, utilizing the venue and all of its capabilities – putting on a show that you couldn’t do anywhere else…to say we got it right is an understatement. Carrie opened her residency in December of 2021, and by June, we had 18 sold-out shows with her. We are so glad to have her back one year later,” said Reynolds.

Carrie announces Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition), coming out Sept. 22. Produced by Carrie and David Garcia, the deluxe features six new tracks including “Out of That Truck” and her brand-new song out today, “Take Me Out.” Fans can also find limited Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition) packages including a special double picture disc vinyl, CD, poster, and more. SiriusXM announced today that Carrie will launch her exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel, CARRIE’S COUNTRY, on Friday, June 9 at 7:45 pm ET on SiriusXM channel 60 as well as on the SXM App. 
 
Carrie will kick off the new channel live and in person from SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour at the Margaritaville Cafe in Nashville with SiriusXM host Buzz Brainard. To celebrate the launch, CARRIE’S COUNTRY will additionally simulcast on SiriusXM’s The Highway (channel 56) on Friday, June 9 from 8:00 pm ET until midnight ET. 
 
Special CARRIE’S COUNTRY launch day programming will feature an exclusive Town Hall special with Carrie recorded at the SiriusXM Miami Studios. SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Carrie Underwood will feature Carrie discussing her new channel, answering fan questions as well as new performances of some of her hit songs including “Before He Cheats,” “Church Bells,” and her newest single, “Out Of That Truck.” The special will air on Friday, June 9 at 9:00 pm ET, rebroadcast throughout the weekend, and will be available to stream anytime on the SXM App.
