Carrie Featured in Resorts World Las Vegas Star-Studded New “Stay Fabulous” Commercial

Today, Resorts World Las Vegas, the Strip’s highly anticipated new 3,500-room luxury destination opening June 24, unveiled an utterly extravagant introduction to the US $4.3 billion property with “Stay Fabulous,” an immersive, first-of-its-kind short film featuring Carrie Underwood alongside Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Tiësto and Zedd. The commercial offers a sneak peek of the astounding entertainment to come as a result of the unprecedented partnerships between Resorts World Las Vegas, Concerts West / AEG Presents and Zouk Group. Watch it HERE.

Carrie’s “My Savior: Live From The Ryman” Raises over $112,000 for Save the Children from Virtual Live Concert Streamed on Easter Sunday

This past weekend, on Easter Sunday, Carrie brought her new album, My Savior, to life with “My Savior: Live From The Ryman,” a virtual live concert performance from the iconic, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, also known as the “Mother Church of Country Music.”  Carrie performed the gospel hymns she grew up singing for this special concert event, which streamed live globally on her official Facebook page on Sunday, April 4th, raising over $112,000 for Save the Children worldwide.  

Nearly 2.5 million fans from the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, Brazil, Ghana, Norway, Germany, South Africa, Mexico, Sweden and beyond, viewed the full show and millions more viewed exclusive performance clips during the 48-hour window for the free event which featured special appearances by gospel superstar CeCe Winans, who performed “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” with Carrie and singer/songwriter Bear Rinehart, frontman of the rock band, NEEDTOBREATHE, who joined her on “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus.”  Southern gospel and harmonica legend Buddy Greene and 10-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally, both of whom played on the My Savior album, also appeared on the show.

Carrie Underwood’s My Savior Debuts #1 Across Billboard’s Country & Christian Charts

Carrie’s new album, My Savior, debuts #1 on the Billboard Country and Christian Charts, as well as #4 on the Billboard 200 chart this week.  Additionally, the album is #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums, Top Country Albums, Top Christian Albums and is the #1 Current Digital Album.  My Savior is Carrie’s ninth consecutive album to debut at #1 on the Billboard Country Chart – extending her record as the only Country artist to achieve that feat with all nine of her studio album releases from the beginning of her career.
 
My Savior is also the #1 Country Album and #1 Christian album in Canada.  The album was #1 on the iTunes Album Sales Chart in the U.S. for all genres throughout the week of release and is currently #1.  It was also the #1 Country Album on iTunes in Canada and Australia. 
 
Seven songs from My Savior debuted on the Country Songs Track chart:  “How Great Thou Art,” “Amazing Grace,” “Just As I Am,” “Because He Lives,” “Victory In Jesus,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Blessed Assurance.”

The success of My Savior comes on the heels of Carrie’s first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, which debuted #1 across multiple global charts, including Billboard Country, Christian and Holiday charts.  The album remained at #1 on the Christian chart 11 weeks after it was released and debuted #1 on the UK country chart (her fifth #1 on the chart) and #1 on the Canadian country chart.  It went on to reclaim the #1 spot on the Billboard Country chart in the U.S. for a third non-consecutive week, and consistently remained in the Top 5 on the Billboard Holiday Album Chart throughout the holidays, hitting #5 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200.

Her virtual concert event, “My Savior: Live From The Ryman,” streamed live globally on Facebook on Easter Sunday (April 4) from the iconic, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, also known around the world as the “Mother Church of Country Music.” Fans can watch the performance, which benefitted Save the Children, here as it will remain exclusively on Facebook for a limited time.  
 
My Savior consists of covers of some of Carrie’s favorite traditional gospel hymns in a unique pastiche of musical styles from classic country to folk, bluegrass, and gospel.  The album will be available on vinyl April 30.  My Savior is co-produced and arranged by Carrie and GRAMMY® Award winner David Garcia, with whom she co-produced her critically acclaimed 2018 album Cry Pretty, her seventh album to be certified Platinum or Multi-Platinum by the RIAA. Garcia is a multi-platinum selling, four-time GRAMMY® Award-winning record producer and songwriter.

The Academy of Country Music®, dick clark productions and CBS announced that Carrie will be part of the superstar performance lineup for the 56TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™, airing live on Sunday, April 18 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
