A Special Tribute To Michael Jackson at The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards!

GRAMMY® winners Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, and Usher will join together, along with the voice of Michael Jackson, in a moving tribute to Jackson at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sun. Jan. 31, 8 – 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. This very special GRAMMY Moment will feature the never-before-seen 3-D mini-movie for “Earth Song” that was created by Jackson as the centerpiece of his much anticipated “This Is It” tour, but was never seen by the public prior to this GRAMMY performance.

The 3-D film was created to support the performance of “Earth Song,” an original composition and a No. 1 hit for Jackson. The song has a strong theme about the future of the planet, and Jackson saw it as a unique opportunity to deliver a message to millions of people who would have seen him on tour.

So that viewers can enjoy this unique 3-D TV experience at home, CBS and Target have partnered to provide millions of free 3-D GRAMMY Glasses. From Sunday, Jan. 24, through Sunday, Jan. 31, Target stores nationwide will exclusively offer these 3-D GRAMMY Glasses so that fans have the opportunity to see the film that was very personal to Jackson. Additionally, the audience at STAPLES Center will share the 3-D experience, wearing the same glasses as those being worn by viewers at home.

Carrie Underwood is up for two awards this year: Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “Just A Dream,” and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for “I Told You So” (with Randy Travis). Also, be sure to check out Carrie’s collage as part of the “We’re All Fans” campaign on www.grammy.com.

Carrie To Make Special Guest Star Apperance On ‘How I Met Your Mother’!

Carrie is set to make an appearance on the CBS Emmy-nominated show How I Met Your Mother in a special one-off guest star role, set to tape later this month. Underwood will play a new character, Tiffany, an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted (played by Josh Radnor), in an episode scheduled to air in March. How I Met Your Mother airs on CBS Television, Mondays, 8:00-8:30pm ET / PT.

How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted’s best friend, Marshall, dropped the bombshell that he was going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realized that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he’s sure it’s love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future and stars Josh Radnor (Ted), Jason Segel (Marshall), Alyson Hannigan (Lily), Neil Patrick Harris (Barney) and Cobie Smulders (Robin). How I Met Your Mother is executively produced by Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Pamela Fryman and Chris Harris.
