We've watched the CMA's on an unconventional way (because it was not broacasted here) . So we asked to a Brazilian fan in Boston to turn on his webcam so we could watch Carrie co-hosting , singing JAD and winning FVOTY.
There are no words to describe how we felt on that night, how happy we were for her (by the way, it was 1.30AM here in Brazil, and most of us had to work or go to school early on the next day)...but totally worth it in the end.
I love Carrie and her songs, and couldn't be more happy for her! Congratulations you were PERFERCT!!!

Also, excellent job with your performance of "Just a Dream", with Introduction from Leslie Ponder, I know you didn't want to upstage her. But, I realize that is normal for you. You have such a powerful and smooth voice, that even when you don't want to do that, you naturally do.
I notice that brought down level of the speakers, as they realized you don't need them.
Like at the concert, you realized the speakers weren't working and I notice the audience never realized, I am trying to remember which concert that was. But you did an outstanding job. Just like wed. Keep up the good work.
Carrie - You did a wonderful job on the CMA's! Congratulations on your award! My husband and I are surprising our 5 year old daughter tonight and taking her to your concert in SLC. She is a huge fan!! She loves to stand on our coffee table with her pretend mic and sing along with your videos. We have pretty good seats on the floor, row 24. We can’t wait to see you and surprise our daughter. It will be a night she will never forget! Thanks for being such a good role model for little girls!!!
Carrie, I was so impressed! Your ability to sing live is AMAZING! It sounds almost identical to the radio and cd. I know we all have heard singers who's voices sound a lot different live. I expirienced that with Taylor Swift at the 2008 CMA Awards. No disrespect to Taylor.

I am so a big fan of country pop songs now only if if it sung by Carrie Underwood. Other country pop singers can hate me but i only come around liking it when Carrie Underwood became american idol. Thats shows how amazing she performed. Anyway, she seems to have many busy touring schedules...hope she is remains in perfect health and shape throughout the tours. Pity her too. The song touches our family. Our son in law went to Iraq in June, 2003. He promised our daughter "it is a cakewalk." And just like the song said, 'We have our whole future planned out." He lost his entire right leg there - and came back changed. Now he says their first 2 years together were "just a dream." Prayerfully they will make it through and he will have a desire to learn a "new way of normal."
But thank you for expressing in song what so many families are going through now!
Carrie, you rocked it in Billings last night! I love all of your songs, but was especially surprized when you sang "Paradise City" OMG you rocked that song! Seeing a performer as young as you play guitar with your band and have respect for the group you are touring with is great. Your songs have such meaning and you are blessed. There is some reason you are blessed and someday you will find your answer. Until then keep blessing your fans with your beautiful voice and sweet personality! I would catch you again, perhaps in a bigger city!

I don't know what interview YOU'RE watching (I've seen them all) , but she has been nothing but grateful to her fans. I guess you don't listen to her acceptance speeches (not that sthe's gotten any awards lately): THE FIRST PERSON SHE THANKS ARE HER FANS, and American Idol, and her family, everyone at her label, Aritista Nashville, and so on. She is one of the least-selfish celebrities I know;...
i don't think Carrie knows what she wants really. She is pretty she knows she can get anyone she wants. She is rude on interviews and i don't think she appreciates anything that she has. All she is thinking is wow i'm carrie underwood a big name in country music i can date who i want and treat whoever the way i want and get away with it
I've heard her on several interviews and she is soooo rude and cocky with hr remarks and seems so selfish and ungrateful to people. I have heard her in three interviews this week about buying her album and the cashier looking at the album and back up at her trying to recognize her and Carrie says to the one interviewing her that she just thought take my money and give me my cd already. if it...
Aren't we all just commentators on what we observe? you don't have to be a marketer to figure out the discrepancies between the first and second albums. but if it doesn't make sense to see how you can go from selling 8 million because you have fans of various genres buying your first CD due to a nationally broadcasted tv talent show, to maybe half of that because the ones remained loved carrie...

Here in Brazil we were so excited about that night...
