I've often told myself Carrie is sort of a picture of what it is like when God saves someone. All great and wonderful things happen to you. She's been blessed in that she is very fair to behold. She has a beautiful voice. She suddenly has fame and untold wealth. And like someone who becomes saved, they stay humble because they know they don't deserve it. She too because of her inexperience or nerves sometimes on stage or even for other reasons remains humble. Her humility to me is so beautiful because it is very genuine. I'm not saying that when God saves someone that you'll be wealthy in this world. No, not by mans standard of wealth. In God's eyes we will be rich in him. We will be his bride that he loves for all eternity. The things in this world are temporal and that yet just a couple of years more. She is like someone whom God has suddenly saved when all blessings are showered upon them.
