I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Carrie is the one female celebrity people should idolize. Especially younger girls. She is honest, and dedicated, and grounded. Carrie knows that girls look up to her and that her actions could affect them. She doesn't drink and drive, or do drugs, or run around public half naked.
Carrie is always dressed beautifully and elegant. She carries herself high.
And if that isn't enought of a reason to love Carrie and to be one of her fans, then her music will make you.
"Before He Cheats" came out right around the time I was cheated on by my boyfriend, and that song was revenge enough. I didn't have to go to the extreme of the song I just had to play the song to feel better.
And anyone who didn't almost cry when they heard "Jesus Take The Wheel" didn't listen close enough.
I dream one day to meet Carrie and to attend a concert. But until that happens I will continue to love her music and buy her cd's.
