I Told You So is a wonderful song. It is now her 10th #1 single out of only 2 CD's. It was written and sung by country legend Randy Travis in 1987. Carrie underwood put it on her Cd "Carnival Ride" released October 22nd,2007 and performed it on the Grand Ole Opry in March 2008. After she performed it, she was surprised to see Randy Travis standing right next to her. He said "That was great. That was wonderful. I was going to do that song tonight. I first saw carrie on american idol in 2005. She was one or the only oklahoma idol on the show that season. I am from oklahoma so i was really really really hoping she would win... and she did !! So I waited and waited and I turned on CMT's Top 20 Countdown and saw "Jesus Take The Wheel" at no. 4 and was waiting for her to reach # 1. Then my favorite singles after that were Before He Cheats, Wasted, Last Name, and I Told You So. Now I am still a fan of hers and hope someday to meet her. Please private message me if you'd like.
