Just watched recorded episode of Oprah's Next Chapter featuring Carrie Underwood. You are such an inspiration to up and coming stars. Your parents raised a wonderful, down to earth, and grounded woman.
I was not a country and western music fan, but I admire you and hence your music because of who you seem to be. Continued success and happiness to you, your husband, parents, and siblings.

I like your music. I have viewed all your concert. Just a small query, have you ever planned a duet with either of these women (Lorrie Morgan or Reba)? I like your duets with Brad.

Dear Carrie,

You are such an amazing singer and superstar ,

I don't know if you will see this but I have to tell but
I became a Christian with you song playing in the background

There was all sorts of issues in my life but I had a serious
Car crash and I was listening to Jesus Takes the wheel
And I walked away from a crash I should have died in
Prayed for the first time and Jesus stepped into my life
And he did take the wheel of my life !!

Your song helped me become close
To God

Thank you

Rick

Dear Carrie
I am so excited to be able to come see you in Hamilton. I am bringing my 17 year old daughter Ashlee, who has been struggling with depression and grief due to a good friend who was killed by a car recently. The counsellor has said this concert will be really good for her. She plays your music all the time. We will be up high this time but hopefully will be able to see you okay. Just looking forward to giving my daughter a night of enjoyment and being able to put aside sadness and just dance and hear you live. I wouldn't want to take her to see anyone else. Can't wait.

Dear Carrie,

I want to thank you for singing blown away. My father might not of drank or physically abused me, but he was sextus and emotionally abusive. Not only to me but to my mother as well. I was never allowed to voice my opinion on anything. There were nights that he would come home from work mad and I didn't know what I might do that might accidentally make it worse.
Music has always been close to my heart and had been my way to voice things for a long time. The first time I heard blown away I cried. The song hit home so well. I knew then that I had a way to say what I needed to be let out and in the only way I knew how to say it without fear.
We are out of there now and have been since October 1st. It's not perfect, but it is sooo much better than it was there. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me find the way to say what I needed to say.
Thank you,
Hannah Jane Lynch age:14 Wv

Hello Ms. Underwood

Insinuating my being stated. My name is Kim and I reside in Omaha, Nebraska. I have had always appreciated the giftings of others and their tenacious ambition to bring them out.

My reason for writing you is that I am a song- writer. I had a dream in 2012 and this song was brought to my attention. The songs are given to me in complete form. I always consult God as to who's to perform these musicals? Three people had came to mind and you were one of the very prospects.

Watching your performances from "American Idol" to current have been quite spectacular. I would love to hear your response upon my request. I truly believe with the help of yourself and others, this song will go "triple platinum !"

Thank you very much and I'm anticipating to hear from you soon.

Dear Ms. Underwood,.
I am the mother of an amazing 15 year old boy. He had the world going for him (honor society student, popular, football star and dreams of going to Stanford University for pre-med). All that changed last year. He suffered from two strokes, one in his brain stem and one in his caudate. No known cause for the strokes, He now suffers from some brain damage and can no longer learn or go to regular school. He can never play football or sports again. Football was his life (he played for 8 years). His weeks are filled with doctor appointments and not many fun things. He is sad, lonely and scared and his trying to adjust to his new normal. I am a single mom of 3 and can't really take him to do many fun activities. I am planning on attending your concert in Stockton, CA. He would really like to meet you if at all possible. It would cheer him up.

Thank you.

Dear Ms Underwood,
I'm sure you or your staff is thinking oh not another plea for something or whatnot. My husband and I are coming to see you in March here in Richmpnd,Va! For Christmas I bought my husband(a huge fan of yours) tickets for a number of reasons. First because we absolutely adore you and your music. And secondly I wanted him and I to have something to look forward to through a very difficult time we are experiencing! I am 27 years old and have had to undergo a bilateral mastectomy because of cancer history and family history that gave me an 89% chance of breast cancer before I turn 35. Because my husband, Luke is truly amazing and one of the most selfless people I know he has been so supportive and tells me daily that my beauty lies in my heart and not my outward appearence.
So with that said I know it would mean the world to him and me to have the oppertunity to meet you. Your music has been inspiration to us through this time, especially 'Jesus take the wheel' we are looking forward to your concert in march but in the mean time I hope to hear from you or your staff!
May God bless your day.

Please help me!!!

I have always been the “go to” person if someone needed help but now I have found myself at the needy end. This is an alien feeling for me and I have no where to turn.

I was laid off from my job in June of 2011 and lost my health insurance in Sept 2012.

I am 60 years old and was placed on Social Security disability for Major Depression and COPD so have a limited income each month. I have a house payment plus utilities, credit cards, and attorney fees. I was in the hospital 3 times in the past year and a half leaving doctor and hospital bills and have monthly medications and am on oxygen that are all essential. I have more going out each month than coming in. If you notice, there is noting allocated for food. I have tried Medicaid and available charities but still am coming up short. Paying off the house, doctor, hospital, credit cards, and attorney would place me in a tight but manageable situation.

This all is very humiliating, I have never felt so lost and alone and it breaks my heart to have to ask for help. I have heard that you sometimes help people that have reached the end of their rope and am hoping you can see it in your heart to help me.

Please watch the invitation video below. This little girl is fighting an incredible battle and would love to come and see your concert in March when you are in Richmond. This is a personal invitation for you to visit her and her friends at the Children's Hospital of Richmond Virginia.

Carrie I am sooooo soooooo soooooo sad that you are sick and can't do the concert tonight! I was looking forward to it for so long!!!!!!! I hope you get better! I guess I'll be seeing you May 1st 2013!Sad I guess I have that much longer to look forward to it! Feel better PLEASEEEE!!!!

Well i dont really kow if you will get this by tomorrow night or not but Nys capital district is grieving the death of two high school seniors that passed on sat. night after getting hit by a drunk driver. Our whole school and neighboring districts have been going through a rough time I was hoping that you can play a song in their honor and the other two who are currently are recovering and undergoing surgeries in nearby hospitals. I know many of the people who were planning to attend your concert are no longer going as the candle light vigil in their honor is at the same time. Take a minute to reflect back on everything you have because like these 17 year olds now know in heaven that it can be gone at any minute. Thanks for your time and best f wishes for you concert and all from now on!

Hi Carrie
I have a 7 year old cousin that fights for his life everyday to breath he has Cystic Fibrosis . His dream is to come see u in concert and hopefully meet it would be a dream come to to him. I was wondering if u were going to be in Little Rock or Memphis and hoping u would help me make his dream come true .
U can email me at wtucker96@yahoo.com
Thank u so very much

Hi Carrie,
My sister and I had the misfortune of losing our mom to breast cancer a couple years ago and listening to your music was something her and I always did during her chemo, your music soothed her and it brought us closer together as mother and daughter. My sister graduated high school in June 2012 and as a way to soften the hardship of our mother not being able to be there, I got her tickets to your concert in Atlantic City, NJ for November 2012. Unfortunately Hurricane Sandy destroyed not only Atlantic City but our town and property as well, which was only 2 blocks from the jersey shore. Needless to say, the concert will probably not take place, I don't know how we would be able to attend anyway. We had been looking forward to your concert since May, but hopefully you will be back through New Jersey soon when our state is out of this destruction and we will be able to attend next time. Thank you for helping my mom get through the hours of chemo that she was forced to endure and for bringing her and her daughters closer together before she passed.
Thank you so much
Taryn

Hi Carrie,

I bought my wife Allison tickets to your OKC show on the 25th for our anniversary. Unfortunately my deployment date was moved up with the Air Force and I will not be able to attend with her. She will be bringing a friend along and they will be in the floor seats in front of the stage. If you happen to see this will you let her know that I am thinking about her and hope she is having an awesome time? Thanks a million!

Dustin

Hi my name is Nichole. My daughter and I are coming to your concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 21,2012. It's my daughters birthday that day and she turns 6 years old. She doesn't know yet that I got her tickets to your concert yet. It is a big surprise for her because she is a BIG Big fan of yours. Im just hoping you can get this and hopefully you can tell her happy birthday that night her name is Haley. I'm going to have a big sign that I'm going to hold up that night. I'm just hoping you get this. It would make her night. Thanks for letting me tell you my story and I hope you get it.
Thanks Nichole

Dear Carrie Underwood,

My name is April Wilson and I am from San Diego, California, where I am a teacher. I am writing to you about my extremely generous and kind-hearted best friend, Jenna. Jenna Haines (soon to be Jenna Powell), is an extremely gracious, joyous, and fun loving Christian woman who works with dogs as well as teaches Bible stories to young Sunday school children. Jenna enjoys horseback riding, running and country music, but most importantly, you!! Jenna will be marrying the love of her life in October of this year, and I am fortunate enough to be the maid of honor in her wedding. I am writing to you because you are Jenna’s absolute favorite artist and possess the beautiful, genuine, Christian qualities that never fail to inspire her.

Your San Diego concert happens to fall on her wedding date (October 20, 2012). As you can imagine, the clashing of event dates disappointed Jenna, so although it is the same week of her wedding, she has decided to cancel her originally planned bachelorette party in order to take a little road trip with her bridesmaids to attend your Los Angeles concert (Section 102 – Row 14!), just three days before her wedding!!! We are all SO extremely excited to see you in concert, and are even more excited for Jenna to get to celebrate one of her final days as a single woman with both her best friends and her favorite artist combined! I know that replacing her bachelorette party with your concert is going to bring her the one-of-a-kind celebration of friendship, love, integrity and Christianity that my best friend deserves on her special day. We have been looking forward to your concert for months now and have mastered all of your songs. I love all of them! They are all sang with an abundance of soul, grace and poise, and I know that we are all very, very anxiously awaiting the day that we finally get to see and hear you live!!

I could not put into words how amazing it would be if you could possibly surprise Jenna with a shout out during your show to wish her and her marriage on a well, blessed road! I know that hearing from you and feeling your encouragement and support will truly touch Jenna’s heart in the days right before her wedding! This is going to be a day that Jenna will never forget and I am really looking forward to spending this time with my very best friend, surrounded by some of our best friends and a woman whom we both love and continue to constantly be inspired by! (That’s you!!)

Thank you so much in advance for any time you may be able to take out of your show to send Jenna a positive and encouraging message!!

With sincerity,

April Wilson

Ms. Underwood. Not sure if this is your real page. Seems there r many. My name is zack. My wife katherine is your cousin. Nina underwood is her grandmother. The last time my wife saw u was when u were 4. She was 16. She played with u and watched u at the underwood reunion in Texas. Nina turned 102 in march. She is doing well. Not looking for anything. Just wanted to drop u a line to say how proud my wife and our children are of u. You are a great role model for our daughters. Hope all is well.

i dont know what to do i am writing a paper and i need a signed autograph of carrie but i dont know what address to send it to.Help.

I don't know if carrie really reads any of this but I just lost a daughter to cancer. the hurt is so bad that I have always found comfort in a song but there isn't any thing.... your a orphine when you losse your parents, your a widdow when your husband dies, your a what when you loose your child. I think that Carrie would make a loving song that would discribe the loose and love for mother that looses her daughter.

I love your music. I have watched you grow since you were on Idol. This is just a suggestion but have you ever thought to do a duet with either of these women (Lorrie Morgan or Reba)? I think that with your voice and either of these women you both or all three would have another hit. I love your duets with Brad and I can't wait to watch you and Brad again hosting this years CMA awards.

Dearest miss Underwood,
My name is Alyssia Vaillancourt. Im 17 and have a type of high functioning autism. My teachers consider you a miracle worker because when my anxiety or anything starts to go out of hand your music is the only thing that will calm me down.

If you ever get to read this, I wold love to be able to chat with you. Im hoping that we will be able to afford for me to go see one of your concerts, but it is very unlikely to happen because im am saving up to go to university near Nashville.

If you wold like to contact me, my email adress is:

Thank you so much,
I love you extremely!

Carrie, you are so inspirational. The first time i saw soul surfer was after my big scoliosis back surgery. What you said changed my thoughts about why me. I have had multiple open heart surgeries and one big back surgery. I have been through a lot. But you made me realize that God gave those problems to us who he knows can handle it. If i was to meet you at your concert that would make me so happy. I cant even express how amazing you are! You know how to change someones life forever and that makes me want to have you as an idol... You are a hero to me! I would do so much to meet you(:

God bless you!
I hope you can please reply to me!

I think that Carrie has every right to support gay marriage.God told us to love everyone,no matter how different they are,and Carrie does that. You really can't help who you fall in love with.I mean, wouldn't it break your heart if someone told you that you couldn't love and/or marry the person you love?Think about that the next time you are about to say that Carrie is going down the wrong path, because she's not.She is a very positive role model and we,as her fans, should agree with what she says about gay marriage, because we are her true fans and we will stick by her side no matter what.

I hope Carrie Underwood reads this. I am not here to attack you--I am here to warn you. Carrie you are headed down a really bad path. I thought when you won American Idol you were going to be different. Jesus Take The Wheel was a beautiful song and you seemed so different and claimed to be a Christian. You may have so much here with your money and your fame, but you MUST not forget we will all stand before God someday in the Judgement Seat of Christ. You must understand that you are going against God when you say you are for homosexuals. You say it is because you are a Christian and that is why you think it is okay. Don't tell God that when it is your time. He won't care about your money and your fame and your wonderful life here--what you do for God while you are here is what is really going to count. It is not okay to feel this way, it totally goes against why God created us. I feel sorry for you. I don't have near what you have Carrie, but I am serving God as much as I can while I am here. I am no better than you, I just fear God. God is a loving God and He is just and merciful, BUT he does punish and those that have not truly repented and accepted Jesus in their heart will not go to heaven. It changes you, no longer are the "things" here important as they once were. I am so shocked you would say what you did. You will leave this life with nothing, like you came into this life with. Hollywood has not been good to you. Seek Him Carrie and He will direct your way.....

Carrie needs to be for God and not for pleasing man with her words. You can love the homosexualman/woman, but hate the sin. It is loving pointing out another's sin because it will save them from eternal damnation if they choose to repent and believe on the the Lord Jesus and his death on the cross. The Lord tells us not to judge, but to go throughout the world and preach the gospel. Carrie has a perfect opportunity to say to the world she was wrong about same sex "love" and marriage, and the Bible teaches God made a WOMAN for MAN as a help mate and companion, not man for man. God also destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for their homosexual sin and refusal to repent. Carrie may see her own career begin to fizzle out if she does not repent herself from her misleading words as a self-proclaimed Christian. God covers, protects, and prospers the humble servants of Christ that speak the truth.
God Bless you Carrie.

I think Carrie Underwood is very brave to announce her support for gay marriage and lifestyle. I love that she stood up for that, even though there are a lot of people who disagree. I know that my support for this country beauty is even more defined now, and I know she will also be getting a lot of support from all of the people I'm going to share this wonderful news with. Smiling

I, too, am disappointed that you are in favor of gay marriage. You can still love the gays, but not be for their lifestyle. If you will read Romans 1:26, you know how much God was against this, but he abandoned them to their shameful desires. However, we do have to be careful to condemn only the practice and not the people. Also, you can read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and see what the Bible says on this matter. Please reconsider your stand on this, Carrie.

I just want to say that I admired Carrie Underwood a lot when she first came out. I thought wow, a beautiful girl that is different from every other person in Hollywood. I just want to say that I am very disappointed in Carrie for her recent support of gay marriage. I do not understand how she can call her self a follower of Jesus and think this lifestyle is ok. Yes, God loves everyone but that doesn't mean that he accepts nor condones our sin. I would really love to know her thoughts about this one. I am just completley shocked....

I have a question/suggestion for Carrie Underwood, It would be great if she started singing christian music and music that glorified God and not things. This is an idea that I believe will help her music career if she changed over from country to Christian. Thanks.
