Tickets to upcoming shows
I don't know if anyone can help me, but I am so disappointed. I live in Calif and wanted to buy tickets to her upcoming show March 11th and they seem to have already been scooped up.
I don't think they have been bought by people like me. But by people/companies that then turn around and sell them for a really high price that is no where near what I can afford.
I think it is really unfair that this is allowed to happen. It makes it difficult to even want to try to get tickets. I wanted to buy 6 and give as Christmas gifts. My neice recently lost the love of her life in an accident and I actually thought this might me nice for me to be able to give her, her sister and her mom tickets so that we can all go out and actually have a nice time, but tickets that sell for $75 on Ticketmaster are going for as much as $1000.
That is just wrong.
Anyway, We love Carrie and her music and had hoped to be able to go, but it looks like that is not going to come to fruition.
I will continue to purchase all her songs. She should have her own Christmas CD.

Don't dispair! Looks like Carrie will be headlining her own concert in 2008 and tickets have been much easier for those shows (at least they were last year).
If you want pre-sale privleges and meet and greet opportunities , you have to join her official fan club at www.carrieunderwood.fm

It's a shame how the tickets for this conert was handled
There are tickets for this already on eBay and they are outrageous.
Evidently there is some type of machine that people (the ticket scaplers) have that can go in scoop up all the good tickets and then they can sell them at their ticket agencies and on eBay.
There is a petition going around on Keith Urbans site to try and stop this.
My friend feels that tickets should be will call only and you have to show your ID and Membership card to get the good seats that fan club member should get.

Same thing with all artists. I think this reallyl came to light throught the Hannah Montana recent concert scandle thing.
Garth Brooks is doing a concert, actually 5 here in Southern California for the fire victims. Tickets are $30 and they also are now on eBay and you know that that $$$ is not going to the victims, firefighters and future fire victims.
It is such a shame!!!

Aw this is happening here too?? I'm a member of Monkeyville and I like Carrie's music too. I wanted to come here because I heard a rumor that Carrie's fans were getting better seats than us monkeys. I was wondering if anyone had anything extra for the show in Anaheim. I would really want to make this show! I agree though something really needs to be done about this problem. FC members should get the best seats w/o emptying the bank account for each show.
