"See You Again" Becomes Carrie Underwood's 18th #1 Single!

“See You Again” Music Video Is #1 on GAC for a 10th Consecutive Week; Twitter Sweepstakes Continues for Chart-Topping New DVD

Carrie Underwood continues a run of #1s this week, as her current smash single, “See You Again,” tops the Mediabase country airplay chart to become the 18th #1 single of her career and her fourth consecutive chart-topper from her award-winning Blown Away album.

The success of “See You Again” has further extended to the song’s music video, which is now #1 for a 10th consecutive week atop GAC’s fan-voted Top 20 Country Countdown.

To date, the video has amassed more than 5.2 million views on VEVO, where fans can see it online here: http://vevo.ly/PMHMbp.

“See You Again” is also one of the songs featured on Carrie’s new DVD, The Blown Away Tour: LIVE, which released August 13 and debuted last week at #1 on Nielsen SoundScan’s Top DVD Music Video chart.

And there’s still time for fans to enter the Carrie Underwood The Blown Away Tour: LIVE DVD Twitter Sweepstakes, continuing through 11:59 PM CT on September 19, 2013. For anyone who got to see Carrie in concert on her Blown Away Tour, 10 lucky winners who include the hashtag #BlownAwayLive in a tweet about their favorite memory from the tour will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries to win an autographed copy of The Blown Away Tour: LIVE DVD. Complete rules and details can be found on www.CarrieUnderwoodOfficial.com.

The Blown Away Tour: LIVE is available at http://smarturl.it/blownawaylive.

Since releasing her debut album in 2005, Carrie has sold over 15 million albums and charted 18 #1 singles, nine of which she co-wrote. Her current album, Blown Away, made history by debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart, making Carrie only the second country artist in the 47-year history of the chart to have each of their first four albums debut at #1. The now Platinum-selling Blown Away album also debuted at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, making Carrie only the second country artist in history to have three consecutive albums debut at #1. She is a six-time GRAMMY® winner, a two-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, a three-time Country Music Association and ACM Female Vocalist winner, and a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Congrats Girl On You're 18th #1 Single

Its not always the case where an exceptionally talented individual is recognized and rewarded. Not true for Carrie - from her out of the gate winning of American Idol she has gifted the world with her awesome talent, poise, honesty and down right hometown girl sweetness. Most everyone whose gotten to know her through her music, her generosity or her open dedication to her faith has fallen in love with this small-town lady from Checotah, Oklahoma. And what's not to love? Her gregarious and wholesome genuineness is beguiling to say the least. And her talents are only just beginning to show us the wide accomplishment she is achieving. If you ever get the opportunity to meet her in person I promise you'll be changed for the better forever. What a gift to Country Music, music in general and especially to all of us who have come to love her ever more with her each new accomplishment. Thanks again Carrie for going and to Mom Underwood for taking your daughter to St. Louis almost 9 years ago to follow a dream that we all now have the privilege to be a part of. Congratulations on #18 Carrie. I know there will be many, many more to follow.
