I hope your very proud, and i hope you are very happy, recently on interviews there is something about the way you have been that just looks as if you are not ok or not happy, and I just hope that your happy and if things are down right now just know that if you can't fix it there's no reason to worry about it just say screw it because ( not that I know you) but judging from your music and how we (the fans) can see you act with others you deserve it.
Her riding on Jesus Take the Wheel was because it was a damn good song....although Allison, Miranda, Martina, and Reba are all amazing...they were at where Carrie is at one point too...all young rising stars who out perform legends....you don't think Reba rode on Fancy for a while??
She deserved the awards she got....and Faith is just a jealous aging woman who doesn't know her ass from her elbow
ON that whole Faith Hill thing, I've heard Faith state many times that she was only kidding and meant nothing by that. She said she was very proud of Carrie Underwood. Carrie, you are very deserving of the awards you received last night. Yes, its true some of the women you were going up agianst have been in country music longer, but sometimes thats just how it is. Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Almost everyone in the country music industry is jealous of what Carrie has done and she gets unfairly bashed for coming off a AI. Miranda Lambert is a product of Nashville Now and does not get the bashing that Carrie has. If it wasn't for Nashvill Now, Lambert would still be singing in bars. For having a reputation of being good people there are several in the country music industry who are the "fake" ones.

First of all, congratulations to Carrie and all of the other winners the other night; I love watching the Country Music Awards and I think it is absolutely AMAZING how much one girl's life can change in three years time!
Second of all, I am absolutely appalled by the unfriendly comments posted on here. C'mon guys, does this have to happen on EVERY message board I read? And I agree, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you don't HAVE to like Carrie Underwood. But then spare the rest of her fans and don't register on her site just so you can post negative comments about her. It makes no sense.

I am not really a fan of country music. Never have been. Country and rap are two genres that have never been appealing to me. For country, traditionally, it’s been too twangy for me – though “You’re the Reason our kids are ugly” by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty is pretty great because the lyrics are absolutely hilarious! Anyway, this may be changing for me!
I went to itunes to download Carrie’s first single, “Jesus, Take the Wheel” to check it out like I have the songs of other American Idol winners (especially since classes prevented me from being able to watch the show). Well – I accidentally hit the wrong button and downloaded the whole album. Yeah – I wasn’t paying attention. Good thing, because when “Before He Cheats” came out, I was happy to already have it on my ipod. At that point, I listened to the rest of the album and genuinely liked what I heard. While I haven’t been a fan of country, I do appreciate someone with a legitimately good voice, which Carrie has. When her second album was released, I downloaded that, too – on purpose, this time around. Maybe I will start liking country music now! Because of her music, I’ve since gone in and sampled some other singers’ music as well and have generally been pleased with what I’ve picked up. It’s always good to try new things and she opened the door on a new genre. (still not thrilled with rap, though!) Thanks for the great music and congratulations on doing so well. You’ve got a fan here in Columbus, OH!
Carrie you looked amazing in the dress you preformed in! my dad said that i will be like you when i get older because i am only 13! my best friend and i went out and got your cd the day it came out and played it in our phys. ed. class! it was soooooooooooooo good! well congrats on your two awards! i think you should have won more!
Carrie, I have been following you since you began on IDOL and you have won me as a fan forever. You are an awesome singer, a beautiful young woman and such a magnificent role model for young women everywhere. I have been following you since American Idol and let me tell you girl, this album has really shown your growth and strengh in your voice. I love the whole album, but I have to say my favorite is " I know he won't". Where you voice goes here is unreal and very very strong. . it gives me the chills. Great job!
