with a Special Holiday Edition of Carnival Ride
Double-Disc to Include Five Holiday Favorites, Arriving October 21st, Exclusively at Wal-Mart
Nashville, TN – Three-time GRAMMY winner and two-time, reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist winner Carrie Underwood delivers a special treat to help usher in the coming Christmas season with the October 21 release of a holiday edition of her current album, Carnival Ride. Available exclusively at Wal-Mart, the holiday version will be a two-disc package featuring the Carnival Ride album along with a second disc containing five Christmas favorites, four of which are previously unreleased.
Among the seasonal classics are “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “The First Noel,” “What Child Is This,” and “O Holy Night” – all newly recorded for this collection – in addition to Carrie’s rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear,” featured on last year’s multi-artist compilation, Hear Something Country Christmas.
Underwood’s Carnival Ride continues to be one of the nation’s hottest-selling country albums nearly a year after its release. Currently certified Double-Platinum, the album has already launched three back-to-back #1 singles – all co-written by Carrie – including “So Small,” “Last Name,” and “All-American Girl,” while the current smash, “Just a Dream,” is now climbing the Top 10.

Great news!!!! The extended Carnival Ride/ Christmas CD is available in Canada. I'm out on the East Coast... so if we have it then the rest of Canada has to have it. It looks like the original Carnival Ride CD except there is a blue and white sticker saying Walmart exclusive....if that helps any in finding it! Selling at about $14.74 --- I absolutely love it!!!!

I've been soo exicted to go buy it!!!
I rushed out to my local Walmart to get a copy of the special edition of Carnival Ride... Sadly I didn't find it. It is not listed on the canadian Walmart website either. The American website will not ship to Canada. Is there anybody that can hook me up with these songs!?! I must have them for my iPod... I love Christmas songs and Carrie is amazing so I must have them!.

She does a very nice job with the songs, but more than that I like the song choices she has made. There are usually two types of Christmas songs. There are the songs that celebrate the celebration like Nat King Coles tune The Christmas Song and then there are songs that celebrate the birth of Christ. Carries choices here represent the latter. As a Christian I really appreciate that. Well done.
Ya, I was at her show in Toronto, simply amazing. We must start a petition if this is not in Canadian Wal Marts............. hmmmmmm........... I do work at HMV, maybe I can try to find out from the supplier if it's coming here.

Oh my word yes we have to make sure we get this CD in the Canadian Wal Mart.... I must have it. She is absolutely stunning in voice, body, personality and role model. I was fortunate enough to see her in concert less than a week ago and all I can say is wow!

Can anyone tell me if this will be made available in Canada or will it only be at Wal Mart in the States?

Even though I may be older than her father, I still appreciate the beauty of her voice. And I was coming on to this site to send an email to ask her to please do an album of Christmas songs. It is such a pleasure to put her CD's on while driving in the car and hear her fantastic singing, and everything else just goes away.
Oh Thats so cool! I will for sure buy those! I just thought I would add that I LOVE How Great Thou Art by Carrie! Its awesome.
