So...I'm a 36 year black chic who loves loves loves Carrie!! I've never joined a fan club type of association, but as I sit here thoroughly enjoying this holiday special, I was moved to do so. Carrie and her guest are absolutely awesome and I just wanted to say "Thanks a bunch!" for providing such fantabulous entertainment!

Great Show Carrie! My entire family really enjoyed all the music and you were so funny. You have such a great personality and I really hope to see you live in concert one day. As much as I LOVE music I still haven't been to a concert, so I want yours to be my FIRST ever concert experience.

Worst show I ever saw. She has a great voice. I wish she would just sing and leave all the other BS out of it. Who cares about her dog and her sister that can't get a date.

I was very disapointed, her first performance with Carrie in black leather singing one of her own songs was anything but holiday. I tuned in because I thought it would be like they used to be different artist performing their favorite Christmas songs. And the attempt at humor was very, very bad, I had to change the channel. Sorry!

Oh Dear! Where was the "holiday" in the Holiday Special? Of course you are talented and funny. And to be honest, you are much prettier without the mask. Please, tone down the make-up.

I have to say , I really enjoyed your special last night. It reminded me of the variety shows that used to be on in the 70's when I was a kid. In a time where everything seems so serious, it was nice to get away from it for a couple of hours. The humor was corny and that's just what I think America needs once in a while.

I am not certain what I was expecting but the s how was fantabulous in all respects from the skits and the wide range of music selections to thecamera work and lighting. Well done! Carrie has demonstrated she is a versatile entertainer with a terrific voice and personality to match.

I watched the Christmas Show last night ! Carrie, where is your Christmas spirit ! It was all about you and your sister finding a date! Your poor mom should be embarrassed singing off key! I think you have way more friends in the industry of Country music to have filled spots that you used for promotion of yourself. I was expecting a Christmas Special ! Not an all about Carrie Underwood Show! Please, there's so many people in this world today without, you could have donated this special to those children in The United States at St. Judes Hospital, the Unemployed Auto Workers of Michigan, the troops over seas,or the Mothers with Cancer of young children. Why did you say you wanted to be Dolly Parton? YOU ARE CARRIE UNDERWOOD!! I personally am so disappointed in this whole charade you put on . It proves your money went to your head or maybe YOU DID PAY OFF SIMON to win AMERICAN IDOL! I really will pray for you and your gift God gave you, I hope you put your talent to better use in the future.

I thought the show was quite good, and showcased your voice and amazing abilities. It just kills me, kills me.....that folks log on here and talk so harshly about how they thought it was going to be more "Holiday" and start disrespecting you in the true holiday spirit. Pathetic. It was YOUR show, about you and your friends, and your talents....and in the true holiday spirit, bah humbug to all those folks who can't just let you enjoy the rewards of all the darn hard work. PLAY ON CARRIE, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!

It was fantastic! Carrie was soo funny, and her vocals were awesome (as usual.) I think my favorite part of the show was when she got to sing with Dolly! Every time I see her on TV I become more and more of a fan! Great job Carrie! Happy Holidays everyone!

I used to be a Carrie Underwood fan until I saw last night's special. Where was the "Christmas?" I fail to see why pushing a gay lifestyle has anything to do with Christmas. Why does any lifestyle at all need to be pushed during a Christmas show? I also feel that by saying, " he was told to portray himself as gay to fit in with the Hollywood scene" is a wrong message to send our children. That it is ok to lie about who you are to fit in. I thought this was supposed to be a family show. I will never again listen or watch anything she does and I am also e-mailing Fox.

Anyone who thought this show was worth watching is either a relative of Carries or was paid to rate it for anything other than what it was. ...garbage! Sorry, but truthfully speaking, it was the most horrible display I have ever witnessed on national television. Holiday show aside (which is a joke if you consider that a holiday special), even for a variety show, I thought it was a negative ten to the tenth degree....self-promoting and completely offensive. It's clear that Carrie has issues with men....she should leave the "holiday" variety shows to the professionals. I wonder if she has ever watched a Bing Crosby or Andy Williams Christmas special. Not that I was a fan, but I definitely will tune her out next time.

Saw it and was entertained ... a different approach to having your own show with guests.. you sounded great with your songs and loved most of the humor. hope we can see a re run of this and think about selling your fans a dvd copy. the proceeds could go to homeless shelters or a Childrens Hospital..

Well I didn't get to watch it on TV cos I don't have the channel that was airing it, don't even know if it's available in England, but anyways I watched it on YouTube, and I have to say I LOVED IT!!! It was a darn entertaining show, the skits were so funny, especially the one with all the instruments LMAO and the singing was outstanding as always, and the guests were awesome - David Cook, Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton in particular. Oh and I love Christina Applegate, so happy she was there. Brilliant show, don't listen to the haters who are chatting out of their backsides! :S
