HUN I think both Miranda and Carrie are truly talented ... but PLZ ,right off the top of my head i can name 15 people who i know personally who are as talented ,look great , write their own songs They Have sacrificing for years to get their Lucky "break " * which often times turns out to be not so lucky after all)!!fWoman who began performing before either of these girls were on the planet .This "lucky break " thing for the most part means ...being fortunate enough to have a support team .MOST USUALLY It's the people behind the scenes Who deserve the awards .

Boyfriends ,girlfriends, family friends fans ! It is they who sacrifice so these people can shine...... It is one thing to be fortunate enough to be blessed with natural talent .BUT TO be surrounded By people who are in your corner and support/share the work load is a priceless Blessing above all blessings.It is also ABSO:UTELY NECESSARY for any significant amount of success to be achieved ! YES These "stars" have talent , charisma and (Usually ) a special something that sets them apart from the average person .but come on STOP giving them all the credit .THERE IS NO {I} IN the word {TEAM} and more than any other biz THIS BIZ takes a huge TEAM of people it is the promoters ,songwriters,musicians,fans,friends and family of the person who rally's around the person and IT IS THEY WHO ultimately decides who TO help or not to help who is deserving .NO MAN IS AN ISLAND and in this business where your main business is "WILL the masses "like you enough to spend a dollar to see you .YOU BEST PAY ATTENTION TO the media because THIS business is VERY COMPETITIVE ,VERY TIRING,Very FAST PACED..and MY BEST ADVICE to any aspiring star IS KNOW THE BIZ know the people you are working for and " WATCH YOUR BACK" but getting back to the subject .

You realize don;t you the record labels Favor signing (young people )who do not have bills or families to support .They also market to Young people who have "extra" cash .Older people use their money to pay BILLS At least if they are responsible adults. ..People like YOUR MOM AND DAD(just a guess the mom and dad part ) ? Because these executive of these huge corporations use DATA mostly internet and up until recently it has been youth dominated the numbers and input collected for the most part in the past has been geared to the young ! Once everyone becomes tech savvy IT will be more complete this date but lets face it middle age folks with CHILDREN ARE BUSY THEY ARE THIS WORLDS BACKBONE the driving force BUT for they most part they are TOO BUSY to fill out a survey or go to a record store to BUY a CD .SO unless the internet and Freedom of speech and equal opportunity , freedom of expression/information laws in this country are regarded by the masses as the important rights they are and the laws are changed to reflect the wishes of the people .. MANY Talented people like some I know personally, who have worked 25+ years Perfecting their Craft many since childhood will continue to fall through the cracks.even though they are at their peak creatively>They would be CHER, TIna Turner , Shania Twain ,Gretchen Wilson ( i only named people who i thought YOU may recognize ) believe me there are many Un knowns who are more beautiful and talented now in middle age than ever before but THEY are continually pushed out by these labels who have the MONEY to make or break a career .MOst require ONE DOES EVERY THING THEY SAY for the privilege !AS an artist myself ,I find this heart breaking .Believe me when i say THIS . most people buy and listen to what Is right in front of their face LIKe the POPUP that opens when you turn on your PC which the label approved . EVERY SINGLE TIME you read an article (unless it is fan based) every single award these artist receive an award (unless it is peoples choice award and monitored closely BY THE PEOPLE ) is ALL a big Game of show and tell if you are allowed and the reason IS MONEY .MONEY not so much for the ARTIST But MOST often times for the PUBLISHER AND RECORD LABEL and LAWYERS .VERY LITTLE OF IT GOES TO THE ARTIST unless they were very fortunate to have A GOOD lawyer with the artist best interest in mind at the time of signing he contract .But i doubt it ,in reality Labels tend to shy away from signing artist who bring a lawyer friend prefer the "greener " musician or the sworn in by default type .IF YOU love MUSIC! IF you want to hear a GREAT VARIETY of MUSIC and watch a GREAT VARIETY of videos ! THEN stop Listening to and buying main stream music , DEMAND that the laws allow ALL artist to easily and affordably USE THE INTERNET to promote their MUSIC Equally like the big boys DO . When you surf the net 1. LOOK at who owns THE WEBSITE use the internet to Research the facts ( check the source and the credibility ) STUDY the laws required to promote yourself or your art LEGALLY especially on social sites and WHO is behind these restrictions and you WILL realize the goal of these companies ARE to CONTROL the money made on MUSIC and/or the artist completely . WE (the masses) may soon only have ACCESS to what THEY APPROVE or the LAW ALLOW S. And this REALLY sucks for lack of a better word !Most ARTSIT with a moderate income cannot afford to pay the legal fees OR lawyers necessary to promote themselves legally on the internet NOW and THIS IS JUST THE WAY THEY LIKE IT !IT KEEPS THEM IN CONTROL of the money generated from music and video. For This reason Our access to quality Music and entertainment CONTINUES to decline .THESE HUGE corporations are TAKING OVER THE INTERNET and many talented people will never be allowed to be heard just SO A HAND FUL of corporations can become BILLIONAIRES .Sadly the internet WAS a rare opportunity for the average person to have a small chance but they quickly GOT right to work on controlling this threat to their POWER TRIP! IF you read this DO me a favor WILL YA use your search engine and YOU TUBE if THERE ARE STILL SOME videos THAT HAVENT BEEN MUTED OR PULLED recently ! While you still can find a great LOCAL band to support ( DO IT) get off your butt and go watch them perform .Tell the local club /venue you will come back if they start having a live band again like they used to ! THEN go and support them buy there CD from them personally if they have one at a live venue or buy it from their own personal website .THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SUPPORT THE ARTIST .OTHER WISE YOU ARE FEEDING THE ENEMY of creative artist .RULE OF THUMB for me I dont buy ANY MUSIC THAT has the name of certain publishers or record labels or their subsidiaries on it I BUY THE independent music because IT FEELS GOOD to me to be a sort of "robin hood " of the music industry but then THIS is written by a woman who was offered a major recording contract in 1997 after she had a lawyer explain to her what all the clauses meant .I realized I would be signing my life away .At the time I truly believed IT possible to achieve success with out them .I still believe it is possible BUT ONLY IF THE MASSES WAKE UP and WAKE UP soon and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH .WE don;t WANT YOU TO TELL US WHO TO BUY any more and Further MORE we DO NOT THINK GOVERNMENT should allow A handful of people to control THE MEDIA entirely right down to the tight to POST A BILLBOARD to advertise ON MY OWN PROPERTY in some instances COME ON PEOPLE .WE got to fight for our right to entertain and be entertained .WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY SOMEONE FOR PERMISSION TO DO IT ! the mFrustrating Part is NOW WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY , many of us paid for classes and bought he equipment ,which is now somewhat AFFORDABLE ..Just to realize WE should have checked the laws First HOW Silly of us to ASSUME even for a minute there would be allowed a platform capable of reaching The masses developed That would give the "underdog " just a little leverage and that People in high elite positions would immediately set out to destroy it in every way possible .Wouldn't it be wonderful If people would just NOT BE SO DAMN GREEDY and stop THINKING ABOUT ME ME ME ALL the time .The problem i see IS that most people never seem to be satisfied THEY CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH ?? can any body tell me why this is? From where i stand I see there is plenty of love and money to go around .HOW in GOD"S NAME can any one claim to CARE about others and spend MILLIONS OF DOLLARS A DAY ON a LUXURY wedding or ITEMS FOR THEMSELVES orHONE . the way i see it it is either to impress others or they somehow think They are BETTER THAN OTHERS and deserve it or its a TAX WRITE OFF / SELFISH /STUPIDITY /A BRIBE /or a trade off EITHER WAY ..I personally am bothered when i see this sort of thing when i know some cannot even afford the bare essentials .Maybe it is based on personal experience After all I LIVE IN "SIN CITY" and i have personally seen a well known casino exec(known in the media as a pillar of the community for giving back step on the hand of a homeless guy and cuss him for passing out in the heat in front OF HIS CASINO }I know personally the casino exec didn't Give him a dollar or stop to check his hand because i pulled over after the light changed and talked to the man got him some water and coffee but the rich Casino exec he just cussed him and sped off in his limo to what ever "pressing " social event he had scheduled .Turns out the man "used " to Gamble and drink Inside the casino ,well until his money was gone that is ! So needless to say "these BIg cities can be a real eye opener if you live in one very long .Especially a tourist town like Las vegas .You can really Study and get to know a diverse bunch of people in a short time ! BUT it can also be very depressing .I do not think I could ever be comfortable having a lot of money .The way is see it IF someone HAS millions of dollars JUST stashed away for a few chosen people this somehow seems wrong to me personally i could never be OK with tihis if it were me ! I would FEEL compelled to help others and keep just what My family needs to get by on comfortably and i cannot Understand those who try to justify Having so much "disposable income in the shape the world is in today .I have heard the reasons they give and no matter what the reason the Truth always screams louder and the truth is simple ITS GREED! when it comes to MUSIC and what is out there I ABSOLUTELY support Open and free Access the internet should remain a forum for information.promotion and creative expression and i support that it should remain FREE TO ALL as long as one is not attacking any group or individual in a way that HARMS that person as far as Their CHARACTER or image or ability i think their should be laws like in the case of Slander but IF it is simply a matter of money THEN a phone calll from the artist or management should be enough to control this unless it involves someone selling your material for profit There is no need for a lawsuit .Of course stealing a song and claiming the legal rights to the songs other people write and putting your name on it and promoting it as your own WELL that is wrong and a simple CREDIT posted plainly on the video UNLESS you are selling the song SHOULD BE FINE ! ! Just imagine what talented people could do if they demanded creative freedom on the internet without these countless restrictions and lawyers with their hand in their creativity and pocket >WOW .
