A tornado ripped through Monona County, IA last week and leveled a Boy Scout camp where 4 young boys were killed and over 50 injured. The leadership that these boys demonstrated as they administered first aid to each other while the local aid was trying to clear a mile of trees just to get to them as well as the countless area residents that lined the gravel road just off the entrance equipped with chainsaws and ready to help get those boys rescued was just such a blessing and a testiment to heart of God's people. The young family that lived at the camp and served as the caretakers have lost everything. We, at the local level are trying to put together some sort of a benefit concert to honor those lost and those still sufferring from this natural disaster. Would you be willing to perform for such an event? We are just a small county of just over 9,000 people so we don't exactly have the pull it takes to get big name stars here, like yourself, but if you can assist in any way, we'd be blessed.
