She didn't really say she was sorry. she even said so on a radio interview, she said that she was joking around and people took it too seriously. People came up to her the next day and were like why did you apologize and she was like what are you talking about?

Carrie was embarrassed and upset and appoligized for her "boots" comment after Matthew McConaughey's story about making boots for George Strait just to impress girls.
I think she is being way over appologetic.

I think she is being way over appologetic. He started such a story and she made a harmless joke & got a big laugh. Don't take it to heart that bad Carrie if you read these things. It was nothing. It was actually harmlessly funny. There certainly have been a lot worse.
Your music is great and are the one of the best to come out of Idol. Keep it up.
