I agree with you in some way.
However I still feel her voice is smooth and incredibly amazing!
Maybe shes tired out from her tour and all those performancing she does.
Besides as people get older there voices changes (singing wise) and there is really nothing Carrie can do. Not that it's changing in a bad way. I feel her voice accutally got a bit stronger I mean I would have never imagined Carrie singing "I know you won't" in her Idol Days.

I was just wondering if anyone else thinks that Carrie's voice sounds a little different since American Idol. I was just listening to some of her older songs, and I swear she sounds kind of different now than she used to! I don't mean different in a bad way at all, but I hope she isn't straining her voice. Her voice now sounds more loud and less smooth sounding..But I don't know...I can't put my finger on it.... Don't get me wrong, I love her to death and her voice is amazing but she just sounds kind of different.
What do you guys think??
