Hello All, Well, I guess it is official...Carrie and Mike Fisher are engaged, so most definitely, she was joking when she was on Ellen...I am happy for Carrie and Mike...so, she really wasnt dissing Canada at all, as some of you have written already in this discussion.......hmmm...wonder if she goes to Predator games?...anybody know?...now that she is engaged to a hockey player...I just wish them all the best...

And in Oklahoma and those other southern states, hockey is practically non-existent down there except for the Predators. So my guess is she just wasn't all that into the sport. I'd doubt it's anything personal

Degeneres and I am a proud Canadian who was a little surprised with the way Carrie discussed who new boyfriend of one year...Although, it was amusing, I still get the feeling she dissed Canada with her thumbs down and hockey, again with her thumbs down....I dunno, but she has millions of Canadian fans, like me, and I still cant help to feel...the thumbs down was an insult to Canada. Even though I did not see it, I got the idea she did not like the distance from Nashville to Canada and that was all. By the way even though I am from Texas my wife and I really like Anne Murray. She has such a beautiful voice and Snow Bird is still one of my favorites. CU is near having that kind of voice.
