Have SPIRIT, have HOPE, and INSPIRE those around you. What a way to describe someone. WE can do just that. Then to think that this same person has been challenged by and conquered skull reconstructive surgery, pallette reformation procedures, two hernia operations ,and spinal straightening surgery. He has challenged those challenges and a few more to include living the first 10 years of his life without a completed hip joint including tissue. Do we operate, NO! With the guidance of a very special orthopedic specialist, God's miracle is in living color. Jesus not only took the wheel but he drove the whole car to success. At the age of 10 years, this young man discovered that the completed hip/ball and socket grew back completely and without medical interactions. But so did all the tissues expected. But what makes this young man so special is that he just turned 16 at Christmas. He is home schooled and attending Science classes at the local college.

This young man is trully an inspiration to all who meet him and come to know him. He is not completely cleared from the spinal surgery he underwent last spring. He grew 5 inches in the 12 hours of surgery. He has never complained and has had an attitude of an angel. To look at him today, you would have a hard time seeing the left behind marks of most of these procedures. But what is so remarkable is that he is so positive and so full of energy. However there is one thing he really wants for him that is still a dream.

Since her days on American Idol, he has been a huge fan of Carrie Underwood. He is working on getting her completed collection with his own "bottle" money. He would love to see her in concert and he would love to meet her. These are all dreams for him. He is the youngest child of a single mom and they live on a very restricted income (less than $950.00 a month) and has to cover the daily bills plus his extras. Carrie is coming to Grand Rapids soon, and he prays every night that someday he would be able to see her in concert and WOULD GOD help him meet her at some point before he gets to old. Gerrit Overway has A.D.H.D., L.D.,D.D. and O.C.D. so he has a few restrictions. So we are looking for a way to maybe make a little dream come true for this trully inspirational young man. His dream is not possible for his mother to give him on her own, but she was hoping that someway, it would be possible for Gerrit to receive an autographed picture of her and maybe a (L) tee shirt so he could dream about her when he sleeps.

Gerrit Overway has a dream, his mother has a special request and together they face the trials on the trails of lfe and come away in victory. WOULD YOU, COULD YOU help this very dedicated mother make a dream come true for her muse in life and living angel. If someone could help grant his wish to see the concert and meet her, he would need (4) tickets and passes. If this is trully out of the ball park than could there be a way to give him an autographed picture and tee shirt. In today's world a young man like Gerrit is a refreshing burst of positive energy in world of so much negative.
