So Carrie just butchered "The Sound of Music." How can she screw up so many of the lyrics? This girl is so out of her league with anything but the simplest country songs.
Jennifer Hudson brought the house down with "Somewhere." Then Usher also stole the show with "Singin' in the Rain."
But sandwiched between these two ROCKING TALENTS, was Carrie Underwood who couldn't even get the words right to one of the most famous songs of all time.
This girl needs to stick to Nashville.

hopefully my crazy dream comes true!
Carrie was amazing. I have listened to her rendition of the Rogers and Hammerstein classic over and over. Her interpretation of the song was magical. I wish she would release a whole album of old standards and movie/Broadway numbers. She puts a unique spin on everything she records. It is a part of what makes her memorable. Performances like this one prove that she is timeless and able to successfully cross many different musical genres.

Actually she got all the lyrics correct. I'm not sure which "Sound of Music" you've been listening to.
