I'm a fan (and you should be too) because....Carrie is really talented and she's so cute! I became a fan after watching her first video on TV, "Jesus, Take The Wheel." Carrie looks so adorable in that video, like the kind of girlfriend I wish I could have. I've been a fan since about 2006 or 2007. I love Carrie's voice. One of my favorite videos is, "Don't Forget To Remember Me." I really enjoyed her interview on CMT Canada, with host Paul McGuire, about Nov.10, 2007. Carrie is beautiful, young, intelligent, elegant, sophisticated, sensible, and sometimes funny. She's quite a storyteller. I've watched her being interviewed on TV, and she's so interesting. She's a captivating speaker, which means, I'm sitting at home, and it's so important that I hear everything she says. She told a charming tale of how she grew up on a farm. I'm so proud of her. I'm a little embarrassed to say I underestimated Carrie's talent. I guessed she only had a serious interest in singing, just a little while before she won American Idol. But then I was looking through some of her photos on her website, and there's photos of Carrie singing at about age 3, with a microphone, in church (I think), and at school (I think), which is incredible. I think when someone is singing with a microphone at about age 3, that's a sign the person has a real serious interest in singing, and may have a lot of talent. I know I was not singing in front of an audience, or even in front of my friends, at age 3. I'm certainly no talent expert, but like the saying, "a picture's worth a thousand words", those child photos, of Carrie singing at about age 3, helped me to understand Carrie more, and appreciate her talent more. When I first became a fan of Carrie, in about 2006, I thought Carrie was just a lucky karaoke singer, who had won the grandest of all karaoke contests---American Idol. I have not watched a whole episode of American Idol, only a little bit. But now that I think Carrie has been singing almost all her life, I think that Carrie really is a STAR! I am so humbled, now, by her talent.
