Hi, I am new, and as a middle-aged woman, I don't usually visit or join fan clubs. But I always watch American Idol and I had admired Carrie and was so glad she won. Occasionally, I would hear a song on the radio, but since I'm not a country music lover I never paid much attention. Then I heard the song Before He Cheats and I love it! So I went out and bought the Some Hearts CD.
Well, now I am definitely a fan. I love this CD, every song is great but my favorites are Before He Cheats, Wasted, and Jesus Take the Wheel. Carrie is not only a good singer, she is beautiful and sweet.
The only other country artist I listen to is Rascal Flatts. So I guess I am starting to like country music? LOL

Welcome to the gang! One thing about being a Carrie fan is that nobody cares how old you are because Carrie transcends the age factor. Her fans range from babies to grand mothers. She is like a binding factor that helps people get along regardless of everything else.
I hope to see more of you here at the forum. I too am a mid aged Carrie fan and am pleased to see others of my age bracket here as well.

Hi Cindee, it's great to have new Carrie fans!! I loved hearing how you were introduced to her. Jesus Take the Wheel and Starts with Goodbye are two of my favs from Some Hearts, it's a very listening addictive album! I don't usually join fan clubs either but Carrie is special, I'm middle aged too
