Dear Carrie,
Last night I went to your concert at the Air Canada Center in Toronto. I had never been to one of your concerts before but it was definitely not my first concert experience. But, let me tell you that your concert last night was absolutely one of my favourite shows I have ever been to!
I always knew you were ridiculously talented but, BY GOLLY, to hear it in person, it was literally unreal. My jaw was dropped for the entire concert.
You go to a concert or you see artists on TV and you see their talent and then you say you don't like them, when really you are just jealous because you aren't talented like them. But I cannot say that about you! Because there is no way I will ever be a fraction as talented, compassionate, courageous and beautiful as you! And I do not say this to belittle myself but to encourage you!
I really appreciate all the effort you put into being a witness to all the people that were there last night. When you sang "How Great Thou Art", I could see it in the way you were singing it that you were truly worshipping and it brought tears to my eyes. It is such a joy to see artists sticking to their belief and values and not being afraid to let them be known!
My experience at your concert was so GOD filled and that is the reason I loved it so much. Your song "Temporary Home" is so very true! And i hold it dear to my heart. I just lost my beloved Grandma to brain cancer about a month ago and that song reminds me that I will see her again in Heaven and I joyfully await for that day.
I just wanted to encourage you to keep doing what you are doing because I know it will do great things!
