Carrie Underwood's tour bus sat idling outside the Metro Centre in downtown Halifax for HOURS (like 10 hours!!!). The particulate matter that spews out of exhaust fumes causes lung diseases, has an negative impact on climate change and creates a GIGANTIC carbon footprint. Plus it smells really, really gross. Shame on Carrie Underwood for coming to my city and creating a big stinking mess. Get a room, if you need a place to hang out all day!

I find this post very hard to read. I can't believe you could say that. Halifax is already full of poultion in the air. Her bus would not have made it any worse.
Do you not realize that almost all tour buses have electrical power hook ups. And most venues tour bus parking with power hook-ups.
So, in all likelihood her tour bus running off of a venue supplied electrical power and was not spewing out of exhaust fumes.
Wouldn't it have been better to write her {or her management} a letter voicing your concerns? I've never met her but she seems like a fairly intelligent and compassionate person who would correct something like this if it was indeed the case.
Shame on you for jumping to a most likely invalid conclusion.
