Just got word that Carrie will be part of a big country show that OPRAH will be taping soon. They want to fill the audience with super country fans and you can apply for a seat HERE
Hey, I was at the taping, as I said before. This is NOT what the show is about. Basically all four artists sang and were interviewed for a couple minutes and that's it. There were women in the audience that were mlitary wives, but they sat in the upper level, not in the front. I however, did sit about 8 feet behind Carrie and the other singers there. I sat 5th row, they all sat 1st row when they were not performing. But yeah, there was really nothing said much about how the song has influenced lives. She did sing that song, though, so that is what you'll see on tv.
Oprah has a query out to veterans wives and widows on how they feel about Carrie's song "Just A Dream" that is headed for a lot of awards. The song and these women will be front and center on this show because it was heart touching. Some couldn't take listening to it because of their loss of a loved one.Others cheered it because it let others know how they felt losing a loved one.Even the ones that hurt when it was sung thought the song and Carrie singing it was Great. But this is what this show will be about I believe maybe the original poster can tell us?
Hey guys! So, I just got back from Chicago and from being in the audience of the taping of Oprah with Carrie! It was amazinggg! Carrie looked stunning and performed as beautiful as ever! They told us they were not sure when it was going to air, but to keep an eye out for it. I sat about 8 feet from Carrie and she looked right at me and said... "Hi Sweetie!" =) I was so excited, obviosly! haha. Anyway, that's my story!
the link to apply for a seat is bad it takes to an error and redirects to the main Oprah.com site and then you cannot find anything on this show. help me out please if you know anything about this. This is going to be one awesome show, I would love to be there in the audience.
