just talking about this brings tears to my eyes. I wonder if Carrie cried when she sang this song? I would love to see Miss Underwood and Vince Gill collaborate on some gospel songs. I love you Carrie !!!!

Temporary Home is absolutely one of the best inspirational song by Carrie. I have to admit that I played this song many many times already and just really loved it. It definitely gives a true meaning about this world that we lives in and all the material things we have are just temporary that at the end, we all leave this world with nothing.
Carrie Underwood, you are the BEST!!! From "Jesus Take the Wheel" (Some Hearts) to "So Small" (Carnival Ride) and now "Temporary Home" (Play On), you never fails to have a song that truly have a meaning and inspired your listeners.
Keep up the great work and God bless....
this song is SO beautiful. The final verse gets to me, too. And when Carrie performed it for her CMT invitation only concert, she was a little teary eyed. But this song has such a great message and her vocals are incredible. I really hope this becomes one of her next singles
Temporary Home is my favorite song of the PLAY ON cd. Carrie's vocals get better with every new song, but this one really hit me in the chest. When she sings about the old man in a hospital bed ready to pass on thru this life and on to the next life and seeing the face of God, just talking about this brings tears to my eyes. I wonder if Carrie cried when she sang this song? I would love to see Miss Underwood and Vince Gill collaborate on some gospel songs. I love you Carrie !!!!
