Girls" Night Out

I want to thank Carrie Underwood for the song she chose to perform at the Girls' Night Out on CBS, Friday, April 22, 2011. That song is one that will always have special meaning for me. It was the song I remember my grandfather singing whenever he was getting to go somewhere important like church. Last time I heard that song was at his funeral seven years ago. I haven't cried like that until Carrie sang it on the show. Thank you Miss Underwood.

There are specials times when God takes hold of a place, time or event and uses it to touch and speak to peoples hearts. And this was without question one of those times. From the first note that Vince began to play after doing the song he did I just sensed that we were going to witness something. And on national TV at that. Because of Vince and Carrie just opening themselves up with no pretense, no show in the balance they just played and sang to the glory of the Great I Am. I don't know if you noticed but no one was stirring. God's hand was on that place and everyone knew it. I couldn't help but let the tears flow knowing that song and what it means. And when I saw Wyonna raise her hand and others raising theirs and standing on their feet I couldn't help but just praise my God and Savior Jesus Christ. I'm glad that I got to witness a special moment in Country Music history.

This performance will be talked about for a long time! Truly your greatest performance I've seen on TV, besides I Know You Won't at the People's Choice Awards. Carrie you just keep getting better every year! This performance has drawn in non Christians and Christians alike. Being a Christian myself, I respect what you did so much. How Great Thou Art!

Carrie that was so beautiful when you sang How Great Thou Art. It was my father's favorite and both my husband and myself were immediately moved to tears. We have followed you since your Idol days and are pleased to see that you have not become jaded by your success. God Bless you as you continue your life where ever it may take you, you certainly deserved to be on that stage with those other great ladies who can truly sing!

All I can say is OMG how beautiful to hear her sing "How Great Thou Art" please put this song out so we can purchase it. You have a beautiful voice. I loved this performance. She is so Beautiful.
