I finally got to see Soul Surfer the other day and was very pleased with it. Carrie did really well with her part and I was so happy to see my favorite charity organization so greatly portrayed. I am a Child Ambassador for World Vision and I honestly had no idea that World Vision was part of the movie at all. When I saw Carrie playing a role with them, it made me wonder if she is really part of the charity in real life? Is she a child sponsor? Child Ambassador? A missions trip volunteer? There are so many things that she could be doing and I was hoping to find out as much as I can. I have been assigned 5 children to find sponsors for and I just thought it would be so neat to have my favorite singer doing what I am doing.
