Okay, so i just got done watching them and i must say: Carrie did well, but she did not look happy-I don't know why, but she just didn't look like she was having any fun! Her dancers were so freakn ANNOYING, though!!! They were very distracting with their obscene dancing and they were all over Carrie, she had no room to do anything!!! By the way...Did Carrie get a haircut? It looked a little shorter

this is kind of off topic, but why do people keeps saying her "roots" are from Some Hearts? the only song that would technically qualify as her true self is "IAICA." The rest of the album was amazing, but it was the result of her label telling her what to do. Her roots are showing up in her last two albums, where she's written many of the songs and had a hand in producing. I would think that Carrie's true fans would appreciate that fact.

I noticed it too that she looked disappointed at the end of her performance. I could be wrong but I think she kinda forgot a few words towards the very end.
I was soooooo mad that Taylor won i was not a fun person to be around that night. I thought her performance was good.

Yah, and what's with Taylor winning Female Pop/Rock? She "claims" she's country, she can't win in 2 genres! The only good part of last night's show was that we didn't have to listen to her attempt to sing!
She didn't even win! Once again Taylor beat Carrie and Reba!!!!!!!! I was FURIOUS! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Even though I love Play on on her next album she needs to get back to her roots like the Some Hearts album.
She often wears hair extensions I know but there is also a way to make your hair look shorter. So I don't think she did. And as far as the AMA's after the last performance.. her's looks tame! I think she was trying to make it be more appealing to POP crowd. But the dancers kept getting in front of her and I think maybe the choreography is what had her crazy.
